Job Summary: As a Salesman in our Roofing Division, you will play a pivotal role in generating new business opportunities and expanding our customer base. You will leverage your exceptional sales skills, industry knowledge, and customer-centric approach to identify and qualify leads, understand customer needs, and present compelling roofing solutions. Your ability to build trust, establish strong relationships, and exceed sales targets will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Lead Generation:Utilize various channels to identify and generate new leads, including referrals, networking, cold calling, and digital marketing strategies.
Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential customers, assess their roofing needs, and understand market trends.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities to attract prospective customers.

Consultative Selling and Customer Engagement:

Engage with prospective customers in a consultative manner, understanding their roofing requirements, and recommending suitable solutions.
Conduct thorough site assessments, taking accurate measurements, evaluating existing roofing conditions, and providing tailored proposals.
Educate customers on the features, benefits, and value propositions of our roofing products and services, addressing any concerns or objections.

Relationship Building and Account Management:

Build and nurture strong relationships with customers, contractors, and other industry stakeholders.
Provide ongoing support and exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Collaborate with internal teams, such as project managers and office staff, to ensure smooth project handover and successful execution.

Sales Target Achievement:

Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
Track and analyze sales performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and take proactive measures to optimize results.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for management review.

Industry Knowledge and Continuous Learning:

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies in the roofing sector.
Attend industry events, conferences, and training programs to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Actively participate in sales meetings, contribute insights, and share best practices with the sales team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the roofing industry or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, installation methods, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
